Dr. Dikwa was Born and bred in the town of Dikwa which is not far from Maiduguri, the capital city of Borno State, he started his education at the Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri where he bagged a Diploma in Accounting. Dr Dikwa broke the record of working with five different military administrators in Government House, Maiduguri, Borno State.
Dr Dikwa has a Doctorate Degree in Accounting and Finance, a Master’s Degree in Finance and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accountancy. He had attended the Senior Executive Course 34, 2012 at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, (NIPSS) Kuru.
He contributions have reshaped Nigeria’s economic landscape. As the pioneer Permanent Secretary (Special Duties) of Nigeria’s Ministry of Finance, Budget, and National Planning, he led with exceptional skill and became a beacon of excellence in the field of public finance.
He has been credited with the conceptualization and implementation of numerous innovations in public finance in Nigeria, including the Treasury Single Account (TSA), E-payment and E-collection, Whistle Blowing Policy, and others.
However, it is also known that Dr Kyari Dikwa is the founder and President, Al-Ansar Foundation.
He expressed regret that SMEs in Nigeria are below the expected optimal level, saying that these problems have reduced remarkably the volume and variety of production and employment possible for SMEs in the national economy.
