The Management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has provided an explanation for the delay in paying corps members’ allowances for the month of June.
According to the NYSC, the delay was due to the administration of funds by various banks.

However, the delay occurred because the banks were yet to credit the corps members’ accounts.
The NYSC Management assured that it is actively working with the banks to expedite the payment of the June allowances without further delay.
They acknowledged the worry and confusion among serving corps members and urged them to remain calm and law-abiding in their respective places of national service.
The statement emphasized that the NYSC will continue to prioritize the welfare of corps members and address any issues related to it.
