The group decried the high rate of insecurity in Abuja, ranging from one-chance to kidnappings that has now become the order of the day.
“In recent times, the rising insecurity within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) has raised serious concerns among residents. It has now become imperative that immediate and effective measures be taken to address this issue. The safety and security of lives and property must be top priority, and we call upon the FCT Minister to liaise with security agencies to ensure the protection of our beloved community.” They said.
They implored the FCT minister to take action against these ruthless criminals and bring judgment upon the killers of their beloved member, Ms Olorunfemi.
“The YALI Network Abuja condemns in strong terms this heinous act of violence and calls upon the FCT Minister and relevant security agencies to prioritize the safety of Abuja residents. We implore them to launch a thorough and transparent investigation into Greatness’ murder so that her perpetrators can be brought to book. It is essential that the culprits are held accountable for their actions and face the full weight of the law.”
