Zulum distributes N76.64 million food items to Borno IDPs

Governor Babagana Zulum of Borno State has disbursed and distributed N76.64 million and food items to over 13, 300 internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Mafa community of the state.
The IDP returnees and other vulnerable people were also each provided with N5, 000 stipends and bales of clothes and wrappers.
Distributing the food and non-food items at the weekend (Saturday) in Mafa, his hometown, Zulum disclosed that each of the IDP men and women got a bag of rice and sugar for the Ramadan fast in the state.

While inspecting the health facilities at Mafa General Hospital, he directed the Principal Medical Officer of hospital, to submit details of the requirements before commencing health delivery services to the people.
He was however satisfied with the completion of hospital’s laboratory, theatre room and staff quarters, after interacting with some of the health workers.
