Zulum tasks HoS on Borno civil servants’ training for efficient service delivery

. Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has tasked the Head of Service (HoS), Dr. Mohammed Aminu Ghuluze on civil servants ‘ training and mentorship for performance and service delivery.
Zulum gave the task on Wednesday, in Maiduguri, while swearing Dr. Ghuluze to strengthen governance for an efficient service delivery in the state.
He said: “During your tenure and before the expiration of my term, I emphasized on the training of our civil servants.
“This among other workers’ capacity building, is one of the issues I want you to look into for immediate implementation,” noting that the workers’ training and mentorship initiatives will boost their productivity in the civil service.
Speaking on the regular training of workers, Zulum said: “Liaise with the office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and the Department of Establishment in identifying their training needs in the State’s civil service within the shortest possible time.”
While congratulating the new HoS, the governor stated, “Your track records of achievements in the civil service is a testament to your leadership and commitment to service delivery to the people.” In a vote of thanks to the governor, Dr. Ghuluze expressed gratitude and pledged to perform the tasks of training and mentoring civil servants for an efficient service delivery system. He pledged to put in his best by serving the State government and people with integrity and transparency.
