2023: Bauchi APC Guber aspirant urges party executives to be fair, just

All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant in Bauchi state, Dr Musa Babaya has urged the leadership of the Party to be fair and just while carrying out their responsibilities in the state.
Babayo made the call when he visited the Bauchi state Secretariat of the party along with his campaign organization recently in Bauchi.
The Aspirant signified his interest to contest for the governorship seat in the state come the 2023 general election.
He said that his sole objective in aspiring to the seat is to pay back to the state for what has been done to him, especially in his primary, secondary and tertiary education.

Babayo explained that his educational pursuit was shouldered by the 60s to 70’s Native Authority and the Bauchi state government, saying it was only on his master’s degree that he enjoyed foreign scholarship.
Babayo was the chairman of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TetFund) where he creditably performed in promoting the development of education in the country.
He commended the Bauchi emirate, the south administrative zone in particular for giving Katagum emirate the privilege of producing the first Executive Governor of the state in 1979 in the person of late Abubakar Tatari Ali.
He stressed that ever since the good working relationship between the two emirates continued to wax stronger.
While responding, the state chairman of the party, Alhaji Babayo Aliyu Misau assured the governorship aspirant that APC leadership would exhibit justice, fairness and equity to all members irrespective of geographical background.
Misau solicited for cooperation and understanding of party members, especially aspirants to various elective positions.
“As for the gubernatorial seat, aspirants should bear in mind that it is only one person that can ascend to the position.
Misau further assured that party captains would undertake their responsibilities to the best of their abilities.
