2023: We’ll thank Gov Yahaya with our votes – Kaltungo community
Some members of the Kaltungo community of Kaltungo Local Government Area of the Gombe State have pledged to appreciate Gov Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State with their voter cards come 2023.
They made the pledge on Wednesday in Kaltungo during a solidarity rally organised by Prof Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi, the Secretary to the Gombe State Government.
The rally tagged ‘Inuwa Alheri Ne; Advancement 2023’ is aimed at galvanising support for the re-election of the governor in 2023.
Mrs Jamila Zakari, the chairperson of Shamai Women Support Group for Inuwa’s re-election said the governor has done a lot in her community to justify his re-election.
Zakari said the good performance of Gov Yahaya was enough evidence to make campaigning for the governor an easy task in Kaltungo and Gombe South.
According to her, his intervention cuts across health, education and infrastructure among others.
“Look at the general hospital that is being upgraded with modern facilities, it had been there since the colonial era without any government paying attention to it but now works have reached an advanced stage.

Prof Njodi commended supporters for coming out to express their support for Gov Yahaya while urging them to get their voter cards ready to re-elect the present administration to sustain the dividends of democracy that Gombe South is now enjoying.
Njodi said with the superlative performance of Gov Yahaya in Gombe South and the entire state, the 2023 general elections would be an easy ride for the governor.
