2024 OurNigeria News Awards: Honouring Excellence, Inspiring National Growth
Abuja will host the highly anticipated 2024 OurNigeria News Awards, an event celebrating exceptional contributions to Nigeria’s development. The ceremony, scheduled for Thursday, January 30, 2025, at the Abuja Continental Hotel, will bring together influential leaders and achievers from across the nation and beyond.
Under the theme “Nigeria Rising: Celebrating Excellence and Charting the Future,” the awards aim to inspire and honour individuals and organisations driving progress in governance, business, arts, and humanitarian services.
Dr. Abubakar Sani, Publisher of OurNigeria News Magazine and Convener of the awards, highlighted the event’s significance in fostering national growth. “The OurNigeria News Awards is more than a celebration of success; it’s a call to action for Nigerians to dream bigger and contribute meaningfully to nation-building. January 30, 2025, will be a night to honour achievements, inspire innovation, and reaffirm our commitment to Nigeria’s future,” Dr. Sani stated.

Since its inception, the OurNigeria News Awards have honoured notable personalities, including former Chief of Army Staff Lt. General T.Y. Buratai (rtd.), Oba Hakeem Oyelude Makama, and General Buba Marwa. The 2024 edition marks the seventh installment of this impactful tradition.
