Abducted pregnant woman freed in Bauchi

A woman nursing an eight-month pregnancy, Kafayyat Adedoyin, has been set free after 11 days with her abductors in Bauchi.
It was gathered that she was released after N1.5 million was paid to the kidnappers.

The expectant mother was abducted on September 17 at Birshin Fulani on the outskirts of Bauchi metropolis.

Her husband, Surajudden Adedoyin confirmed her release on Tuesday, saying though, the ransom was paid on Friday, his wife was freed on Monday morning.
Adedoyin said his wife was traumatised following the humiliating condition she was exposed to in the kidnappers’ den.
