Al-Ansar university scouts for principal officer
Al-Ansar University is set to begin academic activities as the first private University in Borno State to greatly change and transform the physical and psychological wellbeing of the North East, Ournigerian news reports.
According to Herbert Spencer, the great aim of education is not knowledge but action. AU has therefore set in motion the search for suitably qualified candidates for principal officers’ positions for the Institution.
The Founder of Al-Ansar University, Dr M.K Dikwa, has directed for the immediate commencement of the process of appointment of principal officers of the University.
In a statement signed by Malam Bukar Usman, SA (Administration) to Founder Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri, on April 11, 2022, the positions to be filled are University Vice-Chancellor, Bursar and University Librarian.
Usman said interested members of the Planning and Implementation Committee (PIC), the Al-Ansar Family and other stakeholders with requisite qualifications that have been interested to apply or have other qualified candidates in mind be encouraged to apply for the positions indicated.
Al-Ansar University, Maiduguri is one of the 12 recently approved Private Universities in Nigeria to bridge the higher education gaps, especially for those in the North-East region with the opportunity to further their education.
