Atiku, Tinubu donates to establish JIBWIS private university in Bauchi

Presidential Candidates of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and that of All Progressives Congress APC have donated funds for the establishment of Jama’atul Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Iqamatus Sunnah (JIBWIS) to establish a Fortune Private University in Toro local government area of Bauchi State.
They made the donation during the Fund Rising for the construction of the proposed Fortune University at Toro Local Government Area of the State
The PDP Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar donated N100 Million while APC Presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu donated N120 Million.
Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State donated 120 hectares of land and directed all the local government areas to contribute N200 million to facilitate timely completion of the projects.

Mohammed also announced that 19 Northern state governors donated N50 milion to support the establishment of the University.
He commended JIBWIS for the initiative to establish a private University that would complement the Government’s effort towards addressing challenges in the education sector.
He said, “Education is one of the priority areas of my administration and I will encourage efforts by credible groups and organizations like JIBWIS towards accommodating the teaming youth in institutions of learning,” he said.
In his address, the JIBWIS’ Chairman, National Council of Ulama Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingir said the Islamic Organization has established over 5000 primary and secondary schools
He added that they have enrolled about 7 million pupils across the country under its education development initiative.
Jingir said JIBWIS obtained all relevant documents for establishment of the university, calling on Govts, corporate organizations and wealthy individuals to make contributions towards actualizing the project.
He said the fortune University is proposed to accommodate twelve faculties, Departments, ICT center, and state of the art facilities.
