Dr Dikwa Condoles Former Finance Minister Kemi Over Husband’s Death

Dr Mohammed Kyari Dikwa, Funder and President of Al-Ansar Foundation and former Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning, has expressed heartfelt condolences to Nigeria’s former Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, following the death of her husband.
In a condolence message, Dr Dikwa sympathised with Mrs Adeosun and her family, praying that God grants them the strength and courage to endure the painful loss.
He said he recognised the depth of grief the former minister was experiencing and prayed that God would surround her and her family with divine comfort, peace and the fortitude to navigate the difficult period.
“As you pass through this season of grief, may God Almighty surround you and your entire family with His divine comfort, strength and peace. May He grant you the courage to bear this irreplaceable loss and sustain you through the difficult days ahead,” he said.
Dr Dikwa,Ā also prayed that the cherished memories Mrs Adeosun shared with her late husband would remain a lasting source of comfort and inspiration.
He noted that the deceased’s legacy would continue to live on through his family and the many lives he positively impacted.
The former permanent secretary assured Mrs Adeosun that she and her family remained in his thoughts and prayers during the period of mourning.
He further prayed for the peaceful repose of the deceased’s soul.
“May God grant the soul of your beloved husband eternal rest, and may His everlasting light shine upon him. May He comfort you, your children and the entire family, and grant you the strength and fortitude to bear this great loss,” he said.
Dr Dikwa retired as Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Finance, Budget and National Planning and currently serves as the Founder and President of the Al-Ansar Foundation.

Northern Governors Mourn Bamanga Tukur, Hail His Decades of Service to Nigeria
The Chairman of the Northern Nigeria Governorsā Forum (NNGF) and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya,Ā has expressed deep sorrow over the death of elder statesman, former Governor of the old Gongola State and former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Bamanga Tukur (Tafidan Adamawa).
Alhaji Bamanga Tukur passed away in Abuja on Saturday, September 12, 2026.
In a condolence message on behalf of his colleagues in the NNGF, Governor Inuwa Yahaya made available to newmen in Gombe byĀ Alhaji Ismaila Uba Misilli Director-General, Press Affairs Government House GombeĀ described the death of the elder statesman as a profound loss to the North and the nation, saying Nigeria had lost one of its most experienced public servants, political leaders and champions of economic development.
He noted that the late Bamanga Tukurās public service spanned more than six decades, during which he served the country in several critical capacities, including as Chief Executive of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Governor of the old Gongola State and Minister of Industries.
Governor Inuwa Yahaya also acknowledged his contributions to Africaās economic development through the Africa Business Roundtable and the NEPAD Business Group, as well as his leadership of the PDP as National Chairman from 2012 to 2014.
According to the NNGF Chairman, Alhaji Tukurās vast experience in public administration, politics, business and continental affairs established him as one of the prominent figures of his generation whose contributions will remain part of Nigeriaās history.
āAlhaji Bamanga Tukur lived a long and impactful life, serving Nigeria in several critical capacities and contributing significantly to the growth of our economy, institutions and political development.
āHis wealth of experience, wisdom and commitment to public service will be greatly missed. His death is a great loss to the North and the entire nation,ā Governor Inuwa Yahaya said.
The Governor commiserated with the government and people of Adamawa State, the Bamanga Tukur family, friends and associates of the deceased, praying Allah to forgive his shortcomings, reward his lifetime of service to humanity and grant him Aljannatul Firdaus.

Dr. Dikwa Celebrates VP Shettima at 60, Praises His Service to Nigeria

The Founder and President of Al-Ansar Foundation, Dr. Mohammed Kyari Dikwa, has congratulated Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, Ā on his 60th birthday.
In a statement issued to mark the occasion, Dr. Dikwa described the birthday as a significant milestone and thanked Almighty Allah (SWT) for granting the Vice President six decades of life and service to humanity and Nigeria.
He commended Senator Shettima for his years of public service and his contributions to the development of Borno State and Nigeria, saying his career had taken him from state-level leadership to the office of Vice President.
āDr. Dikwa joins the Vice Presidentās family, friends and well-wishers in celebrating this important milestone and acknowledging his longstanding commitment to public service,ā the statement said.
The Al-Ansar Foundation president prayed that Almighty Allah would grant Senator Shettima wisdom, sound health and strength to continue discharging the responsibilities of his office.
He also prayed for divine protection and guidance for the Vice President and his family, expressing hope that his new decade would be marked by Rahmah, Barakah and greater opportunities to serve humanity and the nation.

Buratai Celebrates Shettima at 60, Hails His Humility, Courage, Service to Nigerialp

Former Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Yusufu Buratai (Rtd) has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima,Ā on his 60th birthday, describing him as a humble, courageous and committed public servant.
In a goodwill message to the VP, Gen. Buratai praised Sen. Shettimaās simplicity and accessibility, saying his leadership has been defined by service to Nigerians rather than the privileges of public office.
āYour Excellency walks among the people, not above them,ā Gen. Buratai said. āIn doing so, you have earned a place in our hearts that no title can confer.ā
Gen. Buratai also commended the VP for his courage in confronting national challenges and his consistent support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
He described the partnership between President Tinubu and the VP as important to national stability and progress, while praising Sen. Shettimaās resourcefulness and statesmanship in responding to difficult national issues.
The former Army Chief also highlighted the VPās concern for vulnerable and marginalised Nigerians, saying his outreach to disadvantaged communities reflects genuine compassion.
According to Gen. Buratai, Sen. Shettima has demonstrated an ability to turn challenges into opportunities while remaining focused on the broader interests of Nigeria.
Gen. Buratai also aligned himself with the VPās call for prayers and charitable acts instead of elaborate birthday celebrations, urging Nigerians to use the occasion to support the less privileged and pray for the peace and progress of the country.
