Gov Inuwa declared winner of Gombe Gubernatorial Election

The All Progressive Congress Gubernatorial Candidate been declared winner of Gombe state gubernatorial election.
Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya who is the current State Governor under the APC pulled a total of 342821 votes to beat the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) candidate Muhammad Jibiri Barde which scored 233, 131 votes in the Saturday’s poll.

According to the state returning officer and vice chancellor Federal University of Gashua Professor Maimuna Waziri said Gombe state has 1575794 total registered voters and that 618231 voters were accredited while the total votes caste in the Saturday’s poll was 616745, she announced that the total valid votes were 605355 while a total of 11390 votes were rejected.
APC won the poll with a difference of 74493 votes
