NVMA donates clinical tools in Bauchi
The Nigeria Veterinary Medical Association (NVMA), Bauchi State Council, has on Monday donated clinical tools to clinics across the state, the
Chairman of the association in the state, Dr Abubakar Tilde, said.
He told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Bauchi that the gesture was to enhance the health of animals in the state.
He added that the action was to complement Bauchi State Government’s efforts in providing a conducive environment and working tools to veterinary clinics.

Tilde said that the tools include: Surgical kits, wireless networks and neuters, among others.
The chairman, who commended the Bauchi State Government for constructing an ultra-modern veterinary clinic complex in the state, said
animal rearing had assumed a huge space in the economic sector of the state, and as such, it required quality service.
He added that “the association deems it fit to complement government’s efforts by providing simple clinical tools to boost health services.
“I urge the public to ensure that they buy healthy animals for both rearing and domestic use and patronise registered veterinarians to curb quackery in the profession.
“This is because, if you allow quacks to take over the healthcare of your ranches, the end results might not be favourable, this action will affect the economy.”
