Plateau Local Government Poll: PDP Leads with I5 out of 17 LGCs, remaining 2 LGCs Awaited

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State has so far won 15 chairmanship seats in the election conducted on Wednesday this week.
The Chairman, Plateau State Independent Electoral Commission, Hon. Plangji Daniel Cishak made this known while announcing the election results of the just concluded Local Government Council Elections in the State.
The Chairman, while announcing the results this evening at the Commission’s Headquarters stated that the candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) so far has won 15 out of the 17 LGA chairmanship positions .
He said the LGAs are Mikang , Shendam, Bassa ,Riyom ,Jos South ,Jos East ,Kanam, Quanpan , Jos North, Bokkos Langtang South
Barkin Ladi, Mangu, Wase and Kanke
He said the other results are still expected
The remaining LGCs he said were, Pankshin and Langtang North
.LGAs and would announce them as soon as they are ready
He said the election which was held yesterday across the state went smoothly without hitches and was adjudged to be free, fair and credible.
