Primary Health Care Technical Working Group in Yobe meets to improve services
The State Primary Health Care technical working Group (PHC TWG) in yobe has on Thursday held its maiden meeting with the aim of improving services in the state.
A press release issued by the Director information services who also serves the Chairman social mobilization and community engagements sub-working group, Hajiya Husna Ibrahim, indicates that the meeting held at the Emergency Operation Centre (EOC) in the new Bra-Bra housing estate Damaturu had in attendance over 50 members of the working group drawn from medical experts, relevant Ministries Departments and Agencies and partners which was

The meeting extensively discussed various terms of reference for the TWG and the sub-working group.
Taking the meeting through the TOR, Dr Umar Chiroma Director immunisation and Disease control also looked at the funding of the programme, highlighted areas of urgent need and next actions.

A review of the PHC workplan was made and adopted while subgroup chairman and secretaries are urged to resume the various responsibilities by convening meetings and digesting their TORs.
