Curtis James Jackson the III popularly known as 50 Cent, says he’s going to apologize to Megan Thee Stallion over past doubts about her story in 2020 Tory Lanez shooting
50 Cent has revealed this while speaking with Big Boy’s Neighborhood on Real 92.3.
He said he plans to apologise to Megan Thee Stallion after his past statements expressing doubts that she told the truth about her experiences with Tory Lanez, who was found guilty last month of shooting her in 2020.
The 47-year-old rapper said that he was wrong in his initial assessment of the situation.

The rapper said, ”I’m gonna apologize to Megan Thee Stallion. I said some things on social media, I posted things that – when she was with Gayle [King], I asked “Were you intimate with Tory Lanez?
And she said, ‘What?’ and it was like, ‘No.’ And I was like, ‘Ah, she lying.’ At that point I knew she was lying, it wouldn’t be no reason for them to be around each other. From that, it felt like she was lying, to me.”
50 Cent said that he began to feel like he should apologize to her after listening to the jailhouse conversation that took place between Lanez and Megan’s one-time friend Kelsey Harris.
The Candy Shop artist said “that made me feel like, ‘Oh s***’, now I know what happened; I’m sure that was probably what swayed people in court too.”
50 Cent had posted a meme on social media last month in which he likened Megan to Jussie Smollett, who was convicted last year over in lying about the circumstances of a 2019 attack in Chicago.
Lanez faces up to 22 years in prison after his conviction on multiple charges in the July 2020 shooting. They include assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle and discharging a firearm with gross negligence. He is slated to be sentenced January 27.
