Trade fair: BACCIMA announces free entry into complex in Bauchi
Alhaji Sani Tahir, Director General, Bauchi State Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (BACCIMA), says the 15th North East Joint Trade fair in the state will be toll free.
Tahir disclosed this in an interview with newsmen on Saturday in Bauchi.
He said the North East Development Commission (NEDC) would sponsor the general public into the trade fair square for the period of the event.
He said the action was planned to promote business activities during the 10 -day trade fair.

”The NEDC announced that it will be responsible for the gate fee during the fair.
“We estimated that at the peak of the fair, more than 4,000 people will enter the square.
“And NEDC agreed to that; so other arrangements on access to the square will be handled by the commission,” he said.
Tahir said the fair would be taking place in Bauchi from May 18 to May 27, with all the northeastern states participating.
The North East geo- political zone is made up of Adamawa, Bauchi, Borno, Gombe, Taraba and Gombe.
The director general said that other neighboring states would also be part of the event.
