We Will Not Allow Another Civil War In Nigeria – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has called on political leaders to focus their attention on ensuring the main goal of national development, saying “we are Nigerians, and by God’s grace we will continue to be Nigerians, and Nigeria will continue to progress and will continue to be one country.”
President Buhari who said this on Tuesday while receiving the guest of the former chairman of the former CPC party in his palace, said that he noticed the interest and effort to improve the lives of Nigerians has not stopped in the hearts of the people, calling them to be brave again.

The president added that there should not be a repeat of the selfishness that caused the loss of nearly one million lives from 1967 to 1970.
Buhari is speaking in connection with the country’s civil war at that time.
He said that everything should be done to ensure that this does not happen again, adding that the CPC was created on the basis of patriotism and trust in the unity of Nigeria.
