Yobe APC disburses N32m to wards executive, canvases votes for Buni, Tinubu

The Yobe Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has disbursed N32.7 million to 1,634 wards executive in Yobe North Senatorial District.
Our correspondent reports that the district comprises Bade, Karasuwa, Nguru, Machina, Yusufari and Jakusko local government areas.

Disbursing the funds in Jakuskoon Sunday, Alhaji Mohammad Gadaka, the state APC Chairman, said each official in the zone had received N20,000 to enhance his/her financial standing.
“ It is our own way of empowering and assisting wards executive who had contributed immensely to the victory of our party in previous elections,” Gadaka said.
The chairman charged the officials and other party faithful to work assiduously for the second term bid of Gov. Mai Mala Buni.
“Vote Buni for Second term to complete all the ongoing capital projects such as Damaturu International Cargo Airport, Modern Markets in potiskum, Damaturu,Nguru,Geidam and Potiskum trailer park.
“Our amiable governor has also upgraded, rehabilitated and constructed 138 Primary Health Care centres (PHC) out of the 178 wards across the 17 local government areas in the state.
“ The remaining 40 PHC’s will also be completed if you massively vote for Buni for the second term”, he said.
Gadaka also charged the officials to ensure that the APC Presidential Candidate, Alhaji Bola Tinubu and other candidates of the party were elected in the forthcoming elections.
In his remarks,Alhaji Adamu Lamido, Party Chairman, Jakusko, thanked the party for the gesture which, according to him, wound ginger the officials to do more.
He assured that the officials would to work for the victory of Buni, Tinubu and other APC candidates from top to bottom.
