Dr. Dikwa is Northeast Star’s Man of the Year 2021
The Management and Editorial Board of the Northeast Star Magazine will confer its 2021 Man of the Year award to Dr. M.K Dikwa mni.
This decision was reached at its 56th Editorial Board meeting which took place in the 17th August 2021 in Maiduguri. Past recipients of the award include Retired Lt. Generals TY Buratai and TY Danjuma, H.E Maryam Abacha, IGP Abubakar, Rt Hon. Yakubu Dogara and Dahiru Mohammed ( Rtd).

Dr. Dikwa was born on 3rd January 1960 in Dikwa Town of Borno State. He has a doctorate degree in Public Financial Management and was a career civil servant who as a result of his outstanding performance, earned the sobriquet; “The Seasoned Technocrat”.
He was the pioneer Secretary, Presidential Initiative on Continuous Audit (PICA) and later appointed as Permanent Secretary, Special Duties at the Federal Ministry of Finance,Budget and National Planning by President Muhammadu Buhari.

He retired in 2019 with a Presidential Certificate of Meritorious Service. Dr. Dikwa is also the Founder and President, Al-Ansar Foundation, an NGO committed to serving humanity. He is a humanitarian, teacher, scholar, and a dedicated citizen of our dear nation-Nigerian.
