FUGA Appoints new Principal Officers, works Director
The Governing Council of the Federal University Gashua (FUGA), Yobe State has approved the appointment of Dr Abubakar Mamuda as the substantive Registrar of the institution, and Muhammad Ahmad Ali, as the University Bursar.
The Council also approved the appointment of Dr Adam Gambo Saleh as the University Librarian and Engr. Ahmed Adamu Janga, as the substantive Director of works and Physical planning.
This was contained in a press release signed by the Head of Information and Protocol, Malam Adamu Saleh, on Thursday.
According to the statement, all the appointments of the three Principal Officers- Registrar, Librarian, Bursar, and the Director of Works and Physical Planning take effect from the time they assume duties.
The statement disclosed that each of the appointees is to serve for a one-term period of five years.
“According to the Ag. Registrar of the Institution, Mallam Ubayo Juji, their appointments followed consideration of the report and recommendation of the institution’s Joint Council/Senate Selection Board at the Council’s Extra-Ordinary Meeting held on Thursday 11th November 2021,” the statement read partly.
