One of the myriads of problems bedevilling Nigeria today is religious intolerance. The regrettable presence of this has brought about social discordance and has by extension become a clog in the wheel of Nigeria’s progress.

Every religion is unique, and every adult is entitled to belong to anyone he/she deems fit. Therefore, the least you can do is to respect it.

The world would have been a better place to live if all the energy and time we use in denigrating other religions are used in increasing our faith and spirituality in our various religions.

It beats my imagination to know that most of the people who dedicate much time to demeaning the religions of others are not even committed to undergoing spiritual growth or rebirth in their chosen religion.
I consider it incongruous that some people in this 21st century find it difficult to tolerate people from other religions. It’s a shame.

It’s about time everyonlearnednt to tolerate one another irrespective of religious differences.
