ISWAP Kills 8  Boko Haram Members

No fewer than eight terrorists have been killed in the North East, during a ‘fierce’ gun duel between fighters of Boko Haram and the Islamic State of West African Province, ISWAP, extremist sects, Zagazola learnt.

The incident took place at Jilli a town located between Gubio and Magumeri   Local Government Areas of Borno State.

An Intelligence Officer told Zagazola Makama, a Counter Insurgency Expert and Security Analyst in the Lake that the ISWAP ambushed the Boko Haram faction on their mission to rustle livestock belonging to locals in the North of Borno state.

He explained that the ISWAP terrorists killed eight of them, and seized their weapons and motorcycles.

Recalled that hunger and starvation have allegedly invaded many camps of Jamā’at Ahl as-Sunnah lid-Da’wah wa’l-Jihād, Boko Haram in the axis of Bama in the North East, warranting them to resort to attacking local villages and farms for foodstuffs, money, medicines among others.

On July 3, the three bodies of farmers were recovered in Gajeri, a remote village in Konduga in Borno State, northeast Nigeria, following an attack by suspected Boko Haram fighters.
