PDP Zonal Vice Chairman, Assistant Treasurer, Supporters Join NNPP In Gombe
The Peooles Democratic Party (PDP) fold in Gombe state is falling apart as it’s top officials and other members are defecting to the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) in droves.
Gale of defection has continued to hit the Party following the Zonal Vice Chairman from Gombe Central, Engr. Musa Gwani (Bimason) and Assistant State Treasurer of the Party, Muhammad Yusuf Pindiga (Malam Pindiga) dumped the party and joined the NNPP.
NORTH EAST STAR obtained a audio clips in which the duo announced their formal defection from the PDP to NNPP.

The PDP has continued to lose some of its key members in the state to the NNPP in recent times.
Prominent among the defectors were the Northeast Zonal ex-officio and immediate past women leader in the state, Mole Istifanus, assistant state auditor general, Sama’ila Baba among others.
Just two days ago, Mailantarki received officials and thousand of members of Sardauna Dawo-Dawo, a political support group loyal to the Gombe renowned politician and philanthropist, Jamil Isyaka Gwamna into the party.
The group defected to the party after the exit of Gwamna from the PDP to the ruling APC and changed its name to Mailantarki Movement and vowed to deploy it’s support to his candidature and success in the elections.
