Sarkin Shanu Foundation handover car, N250 thousand to NURTW in Gombe
Alh. Dr. Abubakar Muhammad S Bello, through Sarkin Shanu Foundation for Youth and Community Development, has on Wednesday handed over a brand new car and Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira to National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Kumo Branch at the union’s branch office in Gombe.
Bello pledged to support the forum with a brand new car and two hundred and thousand naira during his visit to the union’s branch office under construction last week as his support for the construction and working vehicle for the activities of the union.

NORTHEAST STAR gathered that NURTW Kumo Branch office was under construction during his visit and had since moved with finishing after receiving the instant cash donation.
The car was handed over to the Chairman of the Union through Alh. Shagari Kumo, Alh. Yahaya Raba and Saifullahi, On behalf of the Executive Director Alh. Dr Abubakar Muhammad Sani Bello.
In his acceptance speech, NURTW Kumo Branch’s Chairman extends his appreciation on behalf of all the Executives and Members of the Union to Alh. Dr. Abubakar Muhammad S Bello for his giant strides and kind gesture to the union which is the first of its kind.
“Sarkin Shanu has recognised and honoured us – and has been committing to the progress and development of this community, socially and in terms of human development that’s why we choose to commend him in grand style.
“As you can see today his good work has today reached our organization – and all the Road Workers of Kumo and Akko Local Government which reaffirmed his commitment to the betterment of all and sundry” Chairman added.
