A Group, One Bauchi Siyasa Bada Gababa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has urged all of its members and supporters to maintain calm and peace in the state.
Retired Air Marshal Saddique Abubakar, an APC candidate for governor, lost to the current governor Bala Mohammed at the 18 Saturday, Governorship and state assembly elections.
The group’s founder and former female head of the APC North Central, Hajiya Hassan Abdullahi, made the appeal to the group’s members on Tuesday in Bauchi.
As she waits for the decision of the party’s stakeholders, she urges the members to rebuff all provocative actions.
The post-election period, when all APC supporters are anxiously awaiting the results of the elections, is a tense one, according to Abdullahi, thus nothing should be done to break the calm or lead to discord in the state.

“We rejected the popurted election figures and INEC declaration of the governorship election to ensure justice has been done,” Hassan Abdullahi Said
On his part, the secretary of the group Alhaji Aminu Mohammed appreciated People of Bauchi state for coming out en masse to vote for APC and the governorship candidate Saddique Abubakar.
