Eid-el Fitr: President TB Football Academy urges Muslims to pray for peace
The President of Tukur Buratai Football Academy Engr Hassan Muhammad (Sarkin Yaki Garkuwa Keffi) has urged the Ummah in the country to maintain the momentum of supplication, devotion, and prayers for the peace, development, and prosperity of the nation.
Engr. Muhammad made the call in a press statement on Saturday signed and made available to Newsmen in Gombe.
He described Eid-el-Fitr as a period of sober reflection and charged the Muslim faithful to replicate in their daily lives, the lessons learnt in the holy month of Ramadan.
“As we celebrate the Eid-el-Fitr festival, I wish to admonish us to learn from the good lessons of Ramadan which connote piety, obedience, and selflessness. We must all imbibe the tenets of Islam which promote peace, tolerance, modesty and love
Engr Muhammad called on Youth not to lose sight in the face of current socio-economic challenges in the country but to remain resolute and prayerful, saying with faith, the nation’s trying moments will be over and Nigeria will emerge stronger and more united.
His words: “I call on Nigerian youth to be their brother’s keeper at all times in providing the unity that can move the country forward and frustrate the nefarious activities of criminals among us”.
