Elections: Dr Dikwa passes vote of confidence in Shettima
The founder and President of Al-Ansar Foundation, Dr Mohammed Kyari Dikwa, has congratulated the Vice President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima, on his well-deserved victory in the just concluded 2023 presidential election.
This is contained in a letter signed by the elder statesman himself and made available to journalists on Wednesday in Abuja.
“This is to extend my warmest congratulations on your well-deserved national election victory, which was held on February 25, 2023.
” It is a great feat to be elected to such an exalted office, and I am certain that you will serve the people of this great country right with the utmost distinction and honour as you have exhibited the same in our dear State of Borno.
He said that it was a memorable, hard, and worthwhile journey that led to the overall victory of your principal, your humble self, your party members, and Nigerians in general.
“This election was a turning point in the annals of this country and will leave an indelible print in the minds of many Nigerians, considering the countless challenges you were able to surmount while traversing the lengths and breadth of this country delivering messages of renewed hope, peace, and prosperity to all. Your passion, strength, and encouragement in spreading these messages of renewed hope have been unmatched.
Dr. Dikwa said Nigerians have no doubt spoken their minds by choosing the best crop of leaders for the country, adding that “your track record of compassion, competence, commitment, consistency, and well-focused leadership over the years has resulted in the desired result.”
“As Nigerians, all we can do now is support, work with, and pray for your success in running our beloved country.
“As you start this new part of your life, know that you will always have my support and prayers. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to the progress and development of our country will not go unnoticed, and I’m sure that your style as a leader will continue to motivate others.
“Let me take this chance to congratulate His Excellency and President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as well as the whole Nigerian people, on the most peaceful, fair, and trustworthy elections in the country in 2023.
