Kebbi Security Forces Eliminate Two Notorious Bandits, Recover Weapons
The Joint Task Force of security operatives in Kebbi has successfully neutralised two suspected Lakurawa bandits during a high-impact operation in Rubin Bisa and Fana villages, Dandi Local Government Area. Several other criminals fled with injuries.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Director of Security, Alhaji AbdulRahman Zagga, from the Cabinet Office, Government House, Birnin Kebbi.
According to Zagga, the operation—executed on Wednesday—was based on intelligence and surveillance reports.
“The intervention followed a complaint lodged last week by the Chairman of Dandi LGA, Dr. Mansur Kamba, regarding bandit activities in Fana and Rubin Bisa villages,” he stated.
Security operatives also recovered sophisticated weapons from the suspects, dealing a major blow to criminal elements in the area.
