Nigerian Air Force Captures Notorious Kidnapper, Isah Abdul in Kano State

In a well-coordinated operation on the evening of February 19, 2024, troops of the Nigerian Air Force successfully apprehended a notorious kidnapper, Isah Abdul, in Durbunde, located in the Takai Local Government Area of Kano State. This high-profile criminal, along with his gang, has been linked to multiple abduction incidents in the area.

In a statement, Director of Public Relations and Information Air Vice Marshal Edward Gabkwet in a statement said, preliminary investigations uncovered Isah Abdul’s involvement in the high-profile kidnapping of Yakubu Ibrahim Tagaho, also known as “Sarkin Noman Gaya,” in April 2023, as well as the abduction of two sisters and three others in December of the same year.
Notorious for demanding exorbitant ransoms, Isah Abdul is also known to have connections to various kidnapping gangs, including the infamous Danbul Fulaku gang operating within the Takai LGA.
Gabkwet added that, Isah Abdul is currently in the custody of the Nigerian Air Force, where he is undergoing further investigations before being handed over to the appropriate authorities for legal proceedings.
