The surge in surrenders significantly weakens Boko Haram’s operational capability and undermines the morale of its remaining fighters. The MNJTF urges other terrorists to surrender and take advantage of the opportunity for lasting peace in the Lake Chad basin region.
This development marks a significant milestone in the fight against terrorism, demonstrating the effectiveness of the MNJTF’s operations and the growing trust in the authorities. As the operation continues, hopes rise for a more peaceful future in the region.
