Buni signs two bills into law in Yobe
While ascending the bills into law on Friday in Damaturu, Buni, disclosed: “The law establishing this Commission was to enforce and monitor the implementation of Shariah in the State,” stating that the law on Hisbah could prevent social vices, including drunkenness, drug abuse and prostitution among women and girls.

The Governor, added that the law on the information and technology development agency, was to effectively coordinate and partner with institutions to mentor and train youths on Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
The laws were recently enacted by the State House of Assembly, before Buni signed them last Friday at the Government House for implementation by Hisbah and the Agency.
