Operation Hadin Kai Triumphs: Four Boko Haram Fighters Neutralized in Fierce Battle

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai (OPHK) in collaboration with the hybrid and Civilian JTF Forces, neutralized four Boko Haram terrorists in a fierce clash in Sambisa Forest of Borno.
Intelligence sources told Zagazola Makama, a counter insurgency expert in the Lake Chad region that the insurgents were killed on Saturday in Bula Dalo village of Bama local council.
According to him, the troops also recovered various weapons and ammunition, including 80 rounds of 7.62mm x 54 metal link and two each of FN rifle and G3 rifle magazines that were not serviced.
Besides the recovery of arms, Makama added: “The troops went further to clear the terrorists’ enclaves in Jango 1, 2, and 3, Arra, Bula Dalo, Ari Kanumbu, Bula Ali, and Mallam Modu Commander.”
He noted that before the arrival of troops at the camps, the terrorists had fled into the forest.
“The troops also engaged another group of terrorists at Garin Bayero, but fled due to the superior firepower of troops,” he said, stating that while several terrorists escaped with gunshot wounds.
The troops supported by the Air Task Force (ATF) of the miliary, have intensified their offensives aimed at dislodging the terrorists from their hideouts to restore peace in the affected communities in the Northeast.
